The EA database team have slogged their guts out over the last few days to bring everyone a brand-new roster update for FIFA 09 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. And what a mighty job it was. Becks is now playing with Milan. Quaresma's been rented to Chelsea, Our Robbie has pegged it back to Spurs... it's all there.

As soon as football's annual player swap-shop came to a close, the database team got hard to work. The result of their efforts is an update you can download now that includes all the changes to players and clubs.

How To Download The Update
There are two ways you can download the update. These are the same for FIFA 09 on all platforms.

1) Go to XBOX LIVE --> RANKED QUICK MATCH
A ticker will tell you that you must have the latest squad update in order to play online. You'll then accept and download the update and you will be able to use it for online games only.
This roster update won't be available when you play offline.

2) Go to ADIDAS LIVE SEASON --> DOWNLOAD LATEST UPDATE
You can't choose the Download Latest Update option if you haven’t activated adidas Live Season. You must activate ALS first (this is free of charge). In order to do it, simply use the free code given for one league of your choice. The code is printed on the back of the game manual. After activating ALS, you can download the latest update.
This update will be available for both Offline and Online modes.
