FIFA 10 is now officially a reality. If you haven't seen it, there's a website counting down to a pretty important day as far as FIFA 10 is concerned.
And for a select few, early code of the game itself will be a physical reality next week. Fifteen of FIFA's community leaders from across the UK, Europe and the US have been invited by the development team to join them at their studio in Vancouver, Canada, to get some serious hands-on time with FIFA 10.
Not only will these guys be able to return from the event with fistfuls of information (once any embargoes are lifted, of course!), they'll also be offering their detailed feedback straight to the team; representatives of FIFA's community directly influencing the development process.
We'll also be gathering en masse to watch the Champions League final, but that goes without saying. And quite possibly hitting EA Canada's pristine on-site 3/4-size pitch for a game of footy or two.
Representing the English-language speakers amongst us, we'll have Dave Witts of SWEETPATCH.TV, Suffwan Eltom from FIFASOCCERBLOG.COM and Orlando Lewis of FIFAINFORMER.COM. Flying in from the US will be Rob 'Wepeeler' Smith, a moderator on our FIFA forums and general YouTube master.
And joining them on the plane will be Glen Cooley, who has been hand-picked by the FIFA team themselves to represent our busy FIFA forums.
All those chaps will be offering up reams of tasty information once embargoes lift over the next few days and weeks. What's more, we'll be taking our own cameras to report from the day, posting to TWITTER and recording videos whenever we can. Finally, we'll be sitting down with members of the FIFA team and - if they're up for it - a couple of our community reps for an extra special round-table FIFA 09 podcast.
Phew. Keep your eyes on the site for updates as they happen...
