In the FIFA 10 podcast this week, Romily Broad and myself offered you the chance to win two tickets to the London leg of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour. Make sure you click that link to find out what to do to enter the competition.
But we also discussed who would be the first name to be included in your Ultimate Team, in this week's Big Shout.
A suitably big question, I think you'll agree. Confronted with a world of footballing talent, who do you call up first?
It came as no surprise that Romily Broad, Yeovil's biggest Liverpool fan, chose Steven Gerrard. To be fair, however, he's a player that leads by example and deserves consideration for any Ultimate Team. That's Gerrard by the way, not Broad.
In response, I was unsure whether to go for the obvious names or to perhaps include an obscure choice. By obscure I mean someone like Rory Delap, whose throw-ins have led to 15 goals for Stoke this season. If anything is guaranteed to bamboozle the opposition it's a Delap throw-in. Teams are helpless against them.
Talking of someone else teams can't handle, I also considered Southampton's Rickie Lambert, but that was purely my heart talking as League One's top striker may meet his match when up against some of the world's best defenders.
Finally, I came to the obvious choice, the on-fire Wayne Rooney.
Why complicate things, I told myself, when the Premier League boasts the world's greatest striker, who would be perfectly at home in my Ultimate Team... and whose goals would guarantee me as a candidate for the Ultimate Manager of the month.
But who's the first name on your Ultimate Team-Sheet? Let us know.
