Recently our ad team had a cool idea for a promotion around this year's World Cup which involved a bunch of rabid footy fans and a lot of paint being splattered all over them. Among all the fans was Video Game Jocks Podcast co-host Paul Brucato from New York who was selected via Twitter to join the group and covered in red, white, and blue. I had a chance to get his thoughts on the whole colorful experience.
The biggest spectacle in sports is looming and the most prestigious trophy in all of sports has been on tour all over the world. The next stop for the World Cup trophy, the city of Toronto. For the first time the World Cup trophy is on display on Canadian soil and we are here in Toronto to capture the excitement of the tour.
The World Cup is drawing ever closer and as anticipation builds up for the biggest sporting event in the world, there has to be a way to quell the anxiety of awaiting kick-off on June 11th. EA SPORTS has done just that with 2010 FIFA World Cup. With the World Cup trophy on tour here in Canada, the game was readily available for fans to play here in Toronto during the two days of festivities.
