Mark the day - 27th January 2010. That’s when a group of eight intrepid - and perhaps slightly batty - gamers decided to play FIFA 10 for 24 hours straight in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record.
While 10 started, only eight managed to keep it going until the end. But that was enough. The man from Guinness, he say yes!
Organised by Stryxa.com - an online destination to play FIFA 10 in organised leagues - the marathon session took place at Victoria Train Station in London. While that was probably slightly chaotic during the London rush-hour, it was apparently distinctly chilly during the night, too.
All the more reason to celebrate the unusual achievement of these brave, brave FIFA fans.
