In December 2009, a selection of the guys behind FIFA 10 got together as EA SPORTS FC and took on Pro Club Championship teams from the community. The results were… undistinguished. At least for the guys who made the game.
Rocksteady FC and Goldenballz FC, on the other hand, walked away from their encounter with the blokes who made the game knowing they really were amongst the best clubs out there.
We’ve just published to Football World the second of the two videos we made during the games. If you’d like to watch the videos, click HERE to see Rocksteady FC’s highlights, and HERE to see Goldenballz FC’s best bits.
But while the FIFA developers may not have been as successful as they’d have liked on the pitch in their first community challenge, they did think the event itself was a blast. And that’s why they’re going to do it every month.
If you’re in a Pro Club and think you’ve got what it takes to repeat the feats of Rocksteady and Goldenballz, head over to the Clubs section of the FIFA forums HERE and register your interest!
Be warned, though. If the internal emails flying about over here are anything to go by, they’re not intending to slip up again…
